3 MONTH EXTENSION TO GROUP PROGRAM: Due to delays caused by the protest of the Kentucky Real Estate Commission’s award to Rice Insurance Services Company, LLC (RISC) for the 2010 Group Program, the 2009 Group Program (April 1, 2009 – April 1, 2010) has been extended for 3 months. The extension of coverage is provided by endorsement to the 2009 Group Policy issued to the KREC on behalf of its licensees. This option extends coverage for licensees who enroll in the group program from April 1, 2010 - July 1, 2010 and is available through the KREC. Group program premiums must be paid directly to the KREC along with your license renewal, or initial licensure. Enrollment forms for the 3-month extension to the 2009 KREC Group Policy must be obtained from the KREC (principal brokers receive enrollment information from the KREC.) Individuals who would like to purchase endorsements to their coverage for the 3-month extension may print and complete the 3-Month Endorsement Enrollment Form for the 3-month extension to the Group Program and mail it along with the proper premium amount (plus applicable taxes and surcharge) made payable to RISC.

12 MONTH INDEPENDENT PROGRAM: Since many Kentucky licensees need 12-month coverage to satisfy customer, bank, individual or other requirements, we are offering an independent program for Kentucky licensees. This option is available by enrolling directly with Rice Insurance Services Company, LLC. We will send you a certificate of coverage to provide to the KREC with your license renewal, or initial licensure. To obtain coverage, print and complete the Firm Billing Worksheet for the Independent Program and mail it along with the proper premium amount (plus applicable taxes and surcharge) made payable to RISC. If you are a new licensee enrolling after the original renewal period, please refer to the Prorated Premium Chart to determine the correct premium amount. Individuals who would like to purchase endorsements to their coverage for the 12 month Independent Program can print and complete the Endorsement Enrollment Form for the 3 month extension to the Group Program and mail it along with the proper premium amount (plus applicable taxes and surcharge) made payable to RISC.
